This five day holiday is for young people who have been commited to mountain biking for a while and want to improve. You'll need a good level of fitness for this week plus feel comfortable and confident riding red trails. This week is aimed at those who have been on a previous mountain bike skills course or are slightly older; aged 14-17 years old.

What we cover

Over the five days we'll look to include:

  • Riding some of the UK's best trails and bike parks

  • Refresher on bike handling and trail riding skills

  • Technical climbing and descending

  • Efficient and controlled braking

  • Manual front wheel lifts

  • Power assisted front wheel lifts

  • Drop offs

  • Bunny hops

  • Riding berms

  • Practical navigation

  • Riding on red trails on man-made and natural tracks

You'll get plenty of chance to put all these skills into practice on mountain bike journeys, at local trail centres and on our mountain bike skills course.

All our staff are qualified and experienced coaches with infectious enthusiasm for the activities. They are experienced in teaching at all levels and most importantly, they have lots of experience helping people choose the level of adventure right for them. Small groups allow us to give you individual attention.
