Dave Cheetham (December)
With the recent cold temperatures and clear skies we've had some magnificent displays of early morning frost.
Frost is created when water vapour in the air condenses and freezes to form tiny ice crystals.
The frost was spectacular today - looking out of the window you could easily have believed there had been heavy snowfall overnight.
Unfortunately it was a very grey day so the photos I took don't do the view justice. This close-up shows the beauty of the icy frost crystals quite nicely though.
