It not difficult to find clusters of this little four petalled white flower at the moment. And you'll have no problems remembering a tale to tell your group about this one either. The clue is in the name.
HIstorically Heath Bedstraw was used to stuff mattresses along with its identical yellow relation 'Ladies Bedstraw' which was of course used to stuff the mattresses of 'fair young maidens'.
