Cath has been an instructor at Plas Y Brenin for 18 years, and her experience is underpinned by a formal teaching background. Cath is first and foremost a people person and focuses very much on the individual. Her empathy, dedication and complete support will allow you to face challenges and achieve things you never thought possible.
Cath has enjoyed outdoor activities from a young age, starting with family walking holidays to the Lake District. Trips to Activity Centres throughout her school years fostered her passion for the outdoors; this led to a summer season at Plas Y Brenin as a Trainee Instructor at the age of 18.
An outdoor adventure highlight for Cath was one amazing May week in Scotland; climbing The Old Man of Hoy, The Old Man of Storr and Traversing the Cuillin Ridge on Skye. Cath is planning her next adventure – a climbing road trip to America.
