In light of the latest NHS advice on the avoidance of catching and spreading coronavirus, we have taken the decision to close Plas y Brenin to the public from 5.30pm on Friday 20 March 2020, until 12 July 2020.

We are reopening on a non-residential basis to deliver adventure days and private instruction from Monday 13 July

For more information on our reopening, please click here.

Customers due to join us in the affected timeframe will be personally contacted by a member of the Plas y Brenin team to discuss their booking.

This is a precautionary measure designed to support general public health and play our part in combating the spread of this disease. We would like to reassure customers that there is no evidence any Plas y Brenin staff or customers have been directly affected by COVID-19.

The closure of the centre will be reviewed on an ongoing basis by our Senior Leadership Team, in coordination with key operational staff, Sport England, the Board of Trustees of Mountain Training Trust (the charitable organisation that manages the centre), and relevant stakeholders and partners.

We will continue to update this page as our operational position changes. Should you have any concerns related to bookings please contact our customer support team on info@pyb.co.uk.
