#ShePaddles Cymru Event

Held at Plas y Brenin, National Outdoor Centre in association with Canoe Wales on the 7-8th May 2022

It’s going to be a full weekend celebrating everything female in the world of Paddlesport.

There are 8 half day workshops held throughout the weekend for you to choose from, lead by inspiring Instructors and our #ShePaddles Ambassadors – Katie Simmons, Clare Thomas & Lina Patel!

  8. Freestyle Masterclass with Lowri Davies - British Canoeing Kayaker, European Freestyle Champion, Adventurer and Level 5 Coach

PLUS: A local live band on Saturday night and lots of suppliers and organisations there such as: Pyrahna, P&H, Ordinance Survey, AberFalls, RNLI amongst many more all weekend.

#ShePaddles FAQ’s…

  • Can I camp at the venue?

    Unfortunately we do not have facility at the centre for camping but if you wish to, there are a variety of great campsites in the local area if you’d like to stay the night before or after the event.

  • Can I come for just one day?

    Yes. We have now opened up a ‘2day pass’ which is £110 for the two days. This includes day trips, full kit, equipment, instruction, event goody bag and access to the live band. Plus Aberfalls gin tasting.

  • Is there any discount available?

    Yes, we are offering discount to all British Canoeing and Canoe Wales Members.

    If you would like to use your 10 % membership discount please call up to book or drop us an email and we will call you back, as our website currently can not process discount codes.

  • Can I have my own room for the duration of my stay?

    Yes, we are currently taking bookings for single occupancy rooms, please let us know at the time of booking if this is something you are interested in as it incurs a small admin fee.
