Stores Supervisor | Full Time

Hours: 36 hours a week with a need for regular work outside of normal office hours.

Salary: £16,680 – £19,993

The Role | Who we Need | What you’ll be doing

The Stores Supervisor will look after our activity equipment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements.

They will also make sure that the stores facility itself is maintained to an exceptionally high standard – keeping things clean and organised

The Stores Supervisor will ensure that customers enjoy brilliant customer care and the benefits of being able to use great quality equipment.

The Stores Supervisor will assist the Chief Instructor and other members of the leadership team with technical product knowledge and guidance relating to activity equipment as required.

The ability to drive a minibus with D1 (minibus) qualification is essential and and an E (trailer) certificate is desirable.

The role involves working closely with the operational, instructional and commercial teams to ensure that effective planning is carried out to meet the needs of our customers.

A strong working relationship with the instructional team is essential to ensure that the equipment we supply meets the needs of our customers.

We need creative, imaginative and positive people that are excited about helping people enjoy the great outdoors safely, with confidence and knowledge.

Areas of Responsibility

Not limited to…

1. To ensure the daily issuing and checking-in of all Centre equipment is carried out in a carefully managed and accurate system.

2. To plan in advance what kit is needed and ensure that this is ready for issue and in the correct quantities.

3. To provide equipment advice to our customers, working with the instructional team, to ensure our customers have the equipment they need to have incredible experiences.

4. To maintain and update an accurate stock control for activity equipment.

5. To ensure great (really great) customer care.

6. Ensure that maintenance of activity equipment is completed.

7. We really want to make the point about great customer care – we need someone friendly, positive and engaging in this role.
