With Olly Sanders

Reserve your space in advance for an exciting talk by PYB’s own Olly Sanders. Come on down to Plas y Brenin for a cosy winter’s evening, complete with a story of an incredible first ascent climbing in North West Greenland!
Olly’s incredible on-sight climb was completed on 24th July 2012 at the head of the Sarqarssuaq Fjord on the South coast of the uninhabited Qaersorssuaq Island, above Latitude 71 degrees North. He and his team were dropped off by boat with a month’s worth of supplies. Facing some interesting weather conditions and no external communications, listen to how Olly and is team navigated the challenges set upon them by the natural world.
The talk is free entry, but we still recommend booking online to secure your seat.
