Bookings FAQ

The easiest way to book a course with us is through the website.

If you are having issues booking online, the quickest way to book is using our online booking form, and a member of our booking team will get back to you.

You can book a place on a course online via our website www.pyb.co.uk and securely pay in full by credit/debit card.

I’d like to part pay but my course is in less than 10 weeks…

Please call us during office hours Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and we will take your booking over the phone. Alternatively, you can complete a Plas y Brenin booking form, indicating on the form under the Fees section that you wish to pay a deposit only.

Gift vouchers

You can use your Gift Voucher code as part payment or full payment when making your online booking. If you have any queries about this, please contact us on info@pyb.co.uk.

Company bookings

If your company or school wish to pay for your course please complete a Plas y Brenin booking form and drop us an email with an official purchase order or letter on headed paper signed by somebody in authority detailing who the course is for, the course title, date and full course fee. We will then book you on to the course subject to availability and invoice your company or school for the full amount. We can only invoice for course dates more than ten weeks away and for the full course fee.

If making a booking via our website and for course start dates less than 10 weeks away full payment is required at time of booking. If the start date of the course is more than 10 weeks away you can just pay a non-refundable 25% deposit by calling, e-mailing or completing a Plas y Brenin booking form and one of the team will get back to you. The balance of payment will become due 10 weeks prior to the course commencement date.

Once your booking has been completed and payment taken, you will receive a confirmation email. This will also include general information and paperwork specific to the course you have booked. Information regarding our Terms and Conditions of booking is also included so please ensure you are familiar with this.

A customer may apply, in writing, to change course or course dates as long as the original booking is more than 12 weeks from the date of the request. The new course must be one that appears on our website. An administrative charge of £25.00 is payable at the time of change. Any requests to change course or course dates within the 10 week period will be dealt with under the terms and conditions relating to cancellation by the customer.

Date or course transfers are not available for courses taking place in Scotland or oversees.

For course dates less than 10 weeks away, a change in booking will be treated as a cancellation and the following fees will apply:

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • 25% of the total booking fee where cancellation takes place less than 10 weeks but more than 8 weeks before the commencement of the booking; or
  • 75% of the total booking fee where cancellation takes place less than 8 weeks but more than 4 weeks before the commencement of the booking; or
  • 100% of the total booking fee where cancellation takes place within the period of 4 weeks before the commencement date of the booking; or
  • 100% of the total booking fee where cancellation takes place on or after the commencement date of the booking

You can arrange for another person to take your place as long as they meet the pre-requisites of the course. A £25 admin fee will apply.

To cancel your course, phone or e-mail bookings@pyb.co.uk Cancellation fees will apply. Please ensure you are familiar with our cancellation policy outlined in our Terms and Conditions of booking. We strongly recommend you have insurance to cover you in the event you cancel your booking.
