Looking for the ultimate summer adventure for young people? Our residential summer camps for 12–17-year-olds in North Wales combine a fun-filled active holiday with authentic skill-building and a vibrant social environment. Whether they are passionate about rock climbing, paddlesports, mountain biking, or want to try a bit of everything, we welcome young adventurers of all ability levels.

 

Based at our world-class National Outdoor Centre in Eryri (Snowdonia), these five-day skills courses take over the entire Plas y Brenin building. From introductory weeks to performance-level training, each course is designed to deliver maximum enjoyment under the expert supervision of our highly qualified instructors. Our team consists of dedicated, passionate professionals focused on passing on life-long outdoor skills in a safe, fully inclusive environment.

We've got the experts to show you the ropes, and you'll always have male and female staff members close at hand to sort out any problems or answer any questions.

Evening Activities

Our staff organise a wide range of evening events, including quizzes, competitions, orienteering, paddling, climbing competitions and raft-building experiences.

DBS Checks

All Instructors working with young people have the appropriate DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service, formerly CRB) check.

Station Collection

We can arrange for you to be collected from any local station, including Bangor and Llandudno Junction railway station and dropped off at the station after the course.
