Simon Allfree

Simon has been working in the Outdoors for over 30 Years. He has worked in local education authority centres, private centres, the National White Water Centre – Canolfan Tryweryn, and for a university teaching on an outdoor degree. He has been involved with research into white water rescue, including a PG Cert in the subject. Simon first walked up Y Wyddfa (Snowdon) aged 8 and first sat in a kayak age 7. He’s been hooked on mountains, rivers and the sea ever since. Driven by a desire to share his love of all things outdoors and a constant need find out what is just over the horizon.
