We are licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority to provide adventure activities as specified in the Activity Centres (Young Persons) Safety Act 1995 and the Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations 2004.

We’re proud to work with the National Governing Bodies to help design our courses and qualifications to the highest standards possible. We also deliver NGB courses as part of our course program.

We regularly complete thorough risk assessments for the centre and all of the courses that we run. You can request to see relevant risk assessments by contacting us.

All staff members, including instructors, are DBS checked and Qualified to NGB level, including undertaking regular assessments for training purposes.

We take the safeguarding of people very seriously and have a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy supported by ancillary policies, risk assessments, training and external audit.  Our residential school parties are housed in sections of our accommodation away from public use.  During our Summer Camp weeks exclusive use of the main centre is afforded to our young explorers.

Our reception is open 24 hours, 7 days a week, meaning you'll never be stranded without help.
