Overview
North Wales has some of the best advanced whitewater rivers in the UK with Plas y Brenin being perfectly placed to experience the whitewater on offer!
Spend two days honing your intermediate or advanced whitewater skills on the area’s beautiful rivers. Under the guidance of our expert coaches, you’ll receive a personalised improvement program tailored to your skill level.
Your time on the water will be a carefully chosen experience, with local rivers selected to enhance your skills to your desired level. The exact venues for your adventure will be determined by the water levels, ensuring that your white water kayaking experience will truly help you move up a gear and prepare you for harder rivers.
The Objectives
Taking you from the grade 3 environment into grade 4, working on paddling skills for a steeper environment.
What to Expect
You’ll spend both days will be on local rivers that will be chosen to progress your skills to your desired level. The exact venues will be dependent on water levels.
Experience Required
You should be a competent grade 3 paddler with some experience of grade 4 and have a reliable whitewater roll.
How Should I Prepare?
You’ll need to be paddling fit and confident on grade 3, having paddled recently in the grade 3/4 environment.
