Overview
This course is a must for anyone new to mountain biking. Your journey will begin with our friendly, highly qualified instructors, ensuring your bike is perfectly set up for you and introducing you to the fundamental skills needed for technical riding. You’ll get a hands-on introduction to this exciting sport from our purpose-built skills course to the legendary trails in Gwydyr Forest and Penmachno.

What to Expect
Day 1: Introduction and Skills Development
- Bike Setup: Our instructors will ensure your bike is perfectly adjusted for you.
- Skills Assessment: A quick check of your current skills to tailor the coaching to your needs.
- Fundamental Techniques: Learn essential skills like balance, braking, and body positioning on our purpose-built skills course.
- Local Trails Exploration: Ride some of the finest mountain biking routes in Britain, including the Gwydyr Forest trails.
Day 2: Advanced Skills and Trail Riding
- Technical Skills Enhancement: Continue to build on good habits with more advanced techniques.
- Trail Adventures: Explore the Penmachno trails and other classic routes like Coed y Brenin and Coed Llandegla.
- Personalised Coaching: Receive individualised attention and coaching in areas you wish to improve.
