Whether you use a slicey boat regularly or only occasionally, learning to move it around smoothly and efficiently can boost your confidence. These skills not only help you show off to your friends but also prepare you for situations you don’t want to find yourself in through controlled practice. In other words, these are the tools to get yourself out of trouble and into the expressive realm on the river.
The first day of the course is dedicated to examining both white water techniques and the specific details of slicey kayaks, learning how to use them to your advantage. On the second day, you will progress to more advanced slicey kayak skills, such as getting vertical, rock-spins, and cartwheels.

Two days getting to grips with slicey kayaks. First day spent looking at both white water techniques and the intricacies of slicey kayaks and how to use them to your advantage. Then progressing to more advanced slicey kayak skills like getting vertical, rock-spins and cartwheels.
Competent roll and happy on grade three.
Spend some time in your kayak honing things like forward drive, edge work and accelerations, recent experience on grade two and three rapids.
