Overview
The course every rock climber should take! You’ll spend two days learning valuable self-rescue skills to get out of those tricky situations that should never arise but all too often do. If you have any doubt about how you’d react in an emergency, and how to cope if it all goes wrong, then fear not, this course should put your mind at rest. You should leave the course with more confidence in your ability to deal with a problem, so you can enjoy climbing and more adventurous crags all the more!

What to Expect
We’ll work with you to personalise this course as much of possible. Common issues might include lowering for more than rope length, abseiling past a knot, escaping from a sea cliff – or something just as simple as how to belay when you have no rack left!
Experience Required
You should be confidently leading at Severe or above, ideally with some multipitch climbing experience.
How do I Prepare?
You should be an active climber.
