Leanne Robinson
With 25 years’ experience in the digital sector, Leanne brings a strong track record of strategic leadership, governance, and operational delivery. She is currently Commercial Strategy and Finance Lead at DB Systel UK, part of Deutsche Bahn. Prior to this, she spent 15 years with Hewlett Packard, leading UK and Ireland operational teams delivering data storage and data protection services across the UK and Europe.
Alongside her professional career, Leanne serves as a Director of Holyhead Rugby Union Football Club, helping to drive the club’s development and community engagement activities. Her previous voluntary roles include serving as Chief Technology Officer for a young people’s mental health charity, where she advised on technology strategy, security, and compliance frameworks.
An enthusiastic outdoor participant, Leanne has a passion for hiking, scrambling, and climbing. She first discovered Plas y Brenin while undertaking training to further develop her own skills and has since developed a strong connection to MTT’s mission of promoting the health and well-being benefits of outdoor activity.
Her voluntary work reflects a commitment to supporting mental and physical well-being, championing women’s participation in sport and physical activity, and creating inclusive opportunities for women and girls of all backgrounds, abilities, and experience levels.
As an autistic person with ADHD, Leanne is keen to change the narrative around neurodivergence, highlighting the strengths and unique perspectives it brings, and she is especially passionate about creating opportunities for neurodivergent individuals to access the mental and physical benefits of both sport and outdoor activity.
