Our modules cover Climbing, Hiking, Paddling and Biking. You can mix and match the modules you’d like to participate in or train up in all areas.
Climb
Climb diverse rocks in North Wales, minutes from Plas y Brenin. Program covers First Aid to advanced climbing techniques and awards.
Hike
Advance from beginner to aspiring Mountain Leader, including a week in Scotland, focusing on Winter Skills, First Aid, and scrambling.
Paddle
Hone your paddlesport and biking skills at nearby venues, covering First Aid, boating techniques, Whitewater Safety, and MTB essentials.
Bike
Paired with paddle, learn MTB Skills and bike maintenance at various venues within an hour's travel, including a Level 2 MTB Leader certification.
Based in the heart of Eryri (Snowdonia)

Rock Climbing

North Wales is one of the premiere venues for rock climbing. We have various different types of climbing and rock, a lot of which is with 5/10 minutes of Plas y Brenin. If the weather’s bad, you can drive out to the coast where the weather is usually much better.

- Working at Height is the entry-level qualification for commercial rope work through Rescue 3.
- Safeguarding is essential for those working with people. DofE Assessor Training is valuable for assessing DofE programs during the summer, gaining experience and mileage.
